Greetings, Akwaaba,Yo!
AYA has created an AYA NEWS site called Yo!.
Latest News:
- "What can you really accomplish in a summer? Why would
anyone pay for AYA courses when many tutoring resources are
free? These children just aren't motivated, no one can really
help 'em. That computer stuff won't work with my child." We've heard it
all.
Now, you can too. Please see how AYA's summer program last
year over Mu
Kanda helped Lauren become: "First in her freshmen class!"
Summer :
- "Summer Photography" provides a way for youth and adults to hone their photo skills by using the principles of MAAT. More..
- Twi for our youth!
Nsoromma School and Kwabena Ofosuhene set the standard for youth
speaking Twi in the ATL at this year's Abokosem Sunsum. To keep the
trend going and to complement our AYA adult Afrikan language classes,
we're offering a course this summer: Read more... and register for the July session!
- Unlikely Marriage is an evolving story. Check it out.
- Shape Shifter is a sequel to "Unlikely Marriage"
The AYA family and Yo! is a place where you can read and respond to articles, announcements and musings. Some
voices will be young; some old and graying with the wisdom of years;
all passionate and focused on building Afrikan people. The voices will
come from all over the country and outside too. We hope yours will be
among them. Right now, you'll find brief articles relative to our
services. Stay tuned for poems, movie reviews, book reviews, editorials
and more from our diverse Warriors and Healers family.
We thank you for your long time and continued support of AYA. We
hope this addition will help keep you abreast of our developments so
we can continue to serve you and stay connected as family.
Now, you can stay abreast of upcoming AYA Events via the AYA Ed Calendar
Book mark it or sign up to receive a notification whenever we add something to AYA's schedule.
Visit Yo!
Sincerely,
Afiya & Wekesa Madzimoyo
